For this activity, Gestiona Global first produced a project monitoring guide, which defined the methodology to be followed to evaluate the environmental and socio-economic impacts of the project, in order to identify environmental, economic and social benefits derived from the technical and economic possibilities of the production, logistics and marketing process for new business models in the 4 sectors involved in the project.

Agricultural validation has been carried out on maize in the 2020 campaign, using as fertilizer the treated sludge in the LIFE iCirBus prototype (heavy metals reduced) and the compost produced in the pile assembled in February 2020 and already mature at the end of April, and including treated sludge in its composition.

In INTROMAC, with the results obtained in the characterization of the fly ash and slag as lightweight aggregates, a cement-based material was designed in which part of the amount of lightweight aggregates was replaced by biomass aggregated and treated fly ash and slags, reducing the use of non-renewable resources, obtaining concrete with properties similar to conventional ones and confirming to the new materials new properties that make this material more sustainable, light and effective.
