Agricultural validation on corn season 2020

Título del fichero

Agricultural validation has been carried out on maize in the 2020 campaign, using as fertilizer the treated sludge in the LIFE iCirBus prototype (heavy metals reduced) and the compost produced in the pile assembled in February 2020 and already mature at the end of April, and including treated sludge in its composition.

<p style="text-align: justify;">As in the previous maize season, the trial consisted of 200 m2 plots with five different fertilizer treatments, with a randomized block design of four repetitions per treatment:<br /> - IM1-Conventional reduced with addition of treated sludge (HM reduced) dose 8500 kg/ha.<br /> - IM2-Conventional with addition of treated sludge (HM reduced) dose 4000 kg/ha.<br /> - IM3-Control with conventional fertilizer, applying the standard fertilizer units<br /> - IM4-Conventional with compost dose 3700 kg/ha<br /> - IM5-Conventional reduced dose with compost 7400 kg/ha&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><img alt="" src="https://www.ctaex.com/icirbus/ficheros/imagenes/2020_11/20-10-validacion-agricola-maiz-2020.jpg" style="width: 450px; float: left; height: 294px;" /></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">The crop was managed in the usual way, with periodic controls of height and chlorophyll levels; that did not show significant differences between the treatments; the harvest was carried out manually in October 2020, and the gross grain yield of the five treatments was not significantly different, reaching usual values for this crop.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;</p>
