For this activity, Gestiona Global first carried out a socio-economic analysis and legal framework (C2) of the fertilizer and construction materials market.

<p style="text-align: justify;">Thanks to this first study, we knew the current situation of both markets and what possibilities there were for the introduction of fly ash aggregates from biomass plants and sludge from local wastewater treatment plants (WWTP). Likewise, we detected that there is a clear opportunity for the insertion of the products which are the object of the project, due to the trends population&#39;s awareness of waste management, climate change, care for the environment and the circular economy.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br /> During the course of the project, new business opportunities were detected, which, through the second evaluation report of the socio-economic impacts (C2.3.), were tried to highlight their potential, in terms of jobs, business opportunities and other social and economic benefits.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br /> Finally, with the preparation of the final report (C2.4.), we will propose a roadmap for the transfer and exploitation of all the products thanks to a SWOT analysis, with the highest priority being to work on the agreement models and collaboration protocols between the different sectors and industries involved, the regulatory frameworks affecting the iCirBus4Industries symbiosis, waste management, the use of sludge in agriculture and of fly ash in construction materials.</p>
