The effectiveness of compost fertilizer manufactured with fly-ash-treated sludge has been assessed in winter cereals: wheat, barley and oats in CTAEX experimental farm.

Broadcast sowing was performed in October 2018, and the trial consisted of five different fertilizing treatments in representative plots of 200 m2, under a randomized squared design, with four replications per treatment:</div>

•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Fertilization with treated sludge (HM reduced) only in basal dressing, complemented till reach needing FU for each crop. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Fertilization with treated sludge (HM reduced) in basal and top dressing, complemented till reach needing FU for each crop. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Control with conventional fertilizer, applying standard FU.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Fertilization with compost from treated sludge in basal dressing to reach 100% of fertilizing needing of each crop.</div>

•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Fertilization with compost from treated sludge in basal dressing to reach 50% of fertilizing needing of each crop.</div>

The cereal crops have been managed in the usual way, with continuous monitoring. </div>
