The LIFE iCirBus project is presented on the 10th World Congress of Chemical Engineering by Aqualia

This is the 10th World Congress of Chemical Engineering, which is held every 4 years approximately.


<div> This year was held from 1 to 5 October in Barcelona, coinciding also with the 11th European Congress of Chemical Engineering and the 4th European Congress of Applied Biotechnology.</div> <div> &nbsp;</div> <div> The event counted on almost 3,000 participants from over 80 countries. More than 3,700 papers were presented, 12 plenary presentations, 95 keynotes, 1,500 oral and 2,000 posters.</div> <div> &nbsp;</div> <div> In the same place, the Expoquimia 2017 was simultaneously celebrated. It coincided with events like Eurosurfas, Equiplast, World Chemical Summit and Smart Chemistry and Smart Future, organized by Feique.</div> <div> &nbsp;</div> <div> On behalf of Aqualia, a presentation was made by &Aacute;ngel Encinas titled &quot;Valorisation of sewage sludge and biomass fly ash into low-impact fertilizer and construction material&quot; which showed the latest advances of the project LIFE iCirBus-4Industries, within Topic 7 Environmental &amp; Sustainable Chemical Engineering - Subtopic 7.4 Waste Reduction &amp; Valorisation.</div>
